Service Technician

New England Spas has been the leading hot tub dealer in Massachusetts for over 40 years. We are seeking to hire a service technician to service and repair hot tubs, swim spas, and saunas. This position is primarily on the road. Driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Day-to-Day:

  • Troubleshoot and isolate spa problems (including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing)
  • Process invoices and log job details using our computer system (you will have a laptop and wireless air card in your vehicle
  • Communicate with customers in a professional manner, discuss any added service that may need to be performed
  • Maintain an appropriate van inventory to reduce the necessity of return visits
  • Maintain service vehicle – normal and preventative maintenance
  • Optimize driving route to maximize completed calls
  • Create return work orders for problems which require additional visits
  • Send quotes for recommended repairs and maintenance
  • Assist with spa deliveries as needed
  • Become a water maintenance expert
  • Perform maintenance and water care orientations for customers
  • Attend and contribute to staff meetings
  • Attend sales and product trainings, as needed
  • Attend manufacturer’s service trainings and obtain training certificates
  • Other duties as assigned

Self motivated, customer focused individual who has the tenacity to find and fix problems in a variety of locations and circumstances. A successful candidate will have strong organizational and time-management skills and an attention to detail.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required
  • Computer proficiency required
  • Technical background (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry) preferred
